Common name:Roger's Red Wild Grape
Botanical name:Vitis X californica 'Roger's Red'

This plant is a woody deciduous vine with round large, gray green leaves.The flowers are small fragrant, white blooms and berry clusters appear in the summer. This vine has a sprawling, climbing growth habit. Leaves turn red in fall, creating a spectacular show. This plant is native to CA and is drought tolerant. Grapes are ornamental. Vitis looks great on fences.

Marjorie Channon' Pittisporum

Common name:Marjorie Channon' Pittisporum
Botanical name:Pittosporum ten. 'Marjorie Channon'

This ornamental Pittisporum is significant because of its variegated and beautiful foliage. It is a slow growing compact shrub with rounded pyramidal habit to 8-12'+ feet tall. The leaves are light green with white edges.

Montebretia

Common name:Montebretia
Botanical name:Crocosmia X crocosmiiflora

This plant is a cormous herb, and it closely resembles the gladiolus. Its summer deciduous bulb bears crenate vertical leaves to 3' tall and arching stalks of brilliant red, coral/apricot, red, red-orange, or bright yellow flowers in late spring and summer. It requires sun to part shade and little or no summer watering. This plant performs well in containers.

Using Permeable Surfaces

If you have impermeable paving that you would like to make permeable, there are two main methods for doing so:
1. Break up hard paved surfaces to create spaces for water to seep through.
2. Remove and replace the surfaces with permeable paving.
